About Green Society

Our Mission

Build strong community and drive consumer capital towards green products.

Organization Structures

The Green Society is composed of a foundation, association and corporation. Since 2004 we have been conducting research and development in the ever expanding green movement, during this time we’ve been planting seeds of our vision through a grassroots marketing campaign. The Green Society has established a trinity of strategic organizations that will allow us to function as an effective NGO (non-government organization)

Structure: A Private Charitable Foundation created in the state of Nevada in 2005

Structure Strengths: This structure was chosen because the beneficiaries are the programs of the foundation.

Purpose: The foundation will manage the village development and create the education programs.

Vision: The vision is to build green society villages in parts of the world that would benefit from the educational programs. We also wish to showcase our members green projects and programs

Founding Members: Casey James and Stephen Arthur are the Executive Directors.

Green Education Programs

The foundation will have a series of evolving programs to educate members about the concepts of incorporating green techniques into their daily living. Some of the programs will include

  • Permaculture of living space
  • Internal Microbiology of Human Ecosystem
  • Identifying True Needs for Survival and Thrivability
  • Biodynamic and Aquaponic Farming
  • Bio-Dome Construction
  • Creating Local Resources Based Economies
  • Green Society Member’s Projects and Programs

Green Education Programs

Members can apply for grants pertaining to the development of Green Society Villages in their local areas. Federal grants for green construction are plentiful with billions literally available. There are twenty six different agencies that offer over 1,000 grant programs. The grants that apply to green construction are mostly offered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The total amount of grants available exceeds $400 billion dollars.

Structure: An Unincorporated Association created in the state of California in 2006.

Structure Strengths: This structure was chosen because of its co-op contracting capabilities.

Purpose: The association will manage the assets and eco-share contracts.

Vision: The vision is to create a cooperative of members that have shared stewardship the green society’s collective assets. The membership agreement will be a unified contract that has a direct focus on creating a green society.

Founding Members: Casey James is the General Manager. Stephen Arthur is the Co-Manager. Both are members on the board of directors.

Collective Stewardship of Assets

Each member will share in decision making and stewardship of the Association’s assets. The association membership agreement will give the member access to a collective group percentage. This will grant them an eco-share contract for all Green Society Villages and access to additional association assets as they become available.

Structure: A Not-For Profit Corporation created in the state of Nevada in 2008.

Structure Strengths: This structure was chosen due to its corporate status and graceful membership reporting.

Founding Members

Early Life: I was primarily raised in Orange County California and am the oldest of 13 children. I was extensively programmed in football training, SAD (Standard American Diet) living and countless school programs training me to become a worker/consumer.

Education: I graduated from Laguna Hills High School in 2001. I receive a certification in dome construction from the Monolithic Dome Institute. I became a world minister in the Rocky Mt. Mystery School. I have been acknowledged and received training in the arts of living-food chefing from Sol Essential Living. Recently I have been acknowledged in permaculture based living from the Soul Movement Project.

Business: In 2000 until now I have been involved in several network marketing and direct sales businesses opportunities and have been receiving passive residual income from personal and group sales. I decided to get involved in real estate loan sales in 2003 and learned that business for approximately 8 months. Website development, graphic design and marketing became an extensively progressive skill that I have been using for monthly income and internal development for Green Society.

Nutrition/Diet: Weighing in at 185 (lbs) I started diligently researching raw-food nutrition, after loading up on data from a few sources I became a raw/vegan and with-in 3 months I lost 40 (lbs). Over the next 5 years I would ride the wave between vegetarian - vegan – fruitarian. Much of that journey consisted being a strong conduit for raw-food standards and chefing.

Green Living: During my travels to the Bay Area I witnessed the “United Nations World Environment Day”. This presented me with a much larger holistic vision for our culture. I experienced a taste of the evolution of our society through the emerging green trend; this is what birthed the “Green Society”. One great solution that presented itself was a total greening of one’s lifestyle. For the next 3 years, myself and several others traveled to many California based events and performed a grass roots campaign to network and spread the vision of the Green Society as a internal and external permaculture process.

Early Life: I was born&raised in Laguna Hills, CA; in an upper-middle class neighborhood, with two Awesome elder sisters (2.5 years older&5.5 years older)&a half brother who was twice my age. I’m the son of a Professional Pool Builder (Father) and a Collegiate Professor of Speech Communications (Mother). My youth consisted primarily of playing sports, traveling the western states with my family, swimming in the pool or at the beach and getting kicked out of Kindergarten for being too “talkative.” I then went to private school for 2 years and got kicked out of 2nd grade! Went back to the public system and continued to deal with suspension, detention and discipline. I always felt inspired to create my own system… rather that being an “obedient boy” in theirs.

Education: I actually made it all the way through the educational system in south Orange County. Achieved excellent grades when I chose to… but always wanted a Teacher to inspire me rather than relay information to me. I became a “jock” in High school, as I had grown out of my defiant and destructive stage, made it to honor roll and graduated class of 2000. I went to JC for 1.5 semesters and then studied abroad in Costa Rica for a Semester (Great!) When I returned I went to San Diego State University, majored in Media Communication, with minors in Spanish and Business Management. My entrepreneurial education consists of many-a-seminar and two years of real estate investment and small business education at Nouveau Riche University in Phoenix, AZ.

Business: My first entrepreneurial endeavor was painting curb addresses in my neighborhood from age 11-14. During the summer of high school I worked for my father, a small business owner, digging ditches in the Sun (15-17); I also worked in retail sales, at Sport Chalet, selling shoes and scuba diving equipment from 18-21. Upon my return from Costa Rica I ventured into network marketing and stayed in that industry for about 6 years… going from company to company… trying to make one of them work. My 2nd semester at SDSU I responded to an add to become a Loan Originator and worked as a Loan Consultant for 2 years to gain experience in Real Estate and 100% commission sales. After graduating, I worked in new home sales for 1 year and pre-foreclosure investment sales for 1.5 years. I’ve stayed in real estate and entrepreneurial business because those were my “surest path” towards “financial freedom.” I’d learned enough about the “rat race” and decided that I was better off creating my own income rather than being told how much I was worth, when I could take a vacation and working for someone I didn’t like.

Nutrition/Diet: I was raised on the Standard American Diet, which was SAD. As a child, adolescent and teen I ate whatever I wanted… and a lot of it: TV Dinners, frozen pizzas, popcorn, ice cream, dairy, meats, pastas, fish, processed foods, “fast food” and a little bit of salad. I had BAD Acne and violent Mood Swings growing up… Now I know why! I found out about Raw/Living foods while in San Diego, with my biz partner and soul brother Casey James. After 6 years of education, re-conditioning and un-cooking classes I primarily consume raw/living/cultured foods with heavy supplementation of “neutriceuticals” and occasionally fish or eggs. I do what I can with what I have. But I do understand the concept of “Garbage in, Garbage Out.”

Green Living: I’ve always been in Love with Nature. It wasn’t until my journey to Costa Rica that I decided to live in a way that would preserve this Great “Kingdom” that we have been given. During my time at SDSU I began to study Un-sustainable Industries and Corrupt Corporate Culture and decided that I wanted nothing to do with it! I’ve been professionally involved in Real Estate and been a student of Green Building, a member of the USGBC and exposed myself to Renewable Energy Technologies throughout the past 4+ years. I am committed to creating a Positive Impact on the Planet, the lives of Consumers, Home owners and the Economy as a Whole. I believe that we, in the US, can be an example to the World if we take the 70% of GDP, which is Consumer based spending, and direct it toward sustainable industries. I also believe in the Gold Standard and sustainability in relation to Finance and Capital. We were intended to BE a Free People but have become Debtors! We MUST be Green in ALL parts of our Life… This is part of “The Great Work.”
